Starting August 2008 I will be working part time as an Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Adults at Canberra Baptist Church and part time as a Community Coordinator for the Irene's Place: a house of discipleship and peace. Irene's Place will be starting in 2009 so I will be working on setting things into motion for this service, discipleship, and peacemaking venture.
I grew up between USA, Canada and Australia with my parents and two older brothers. I just graduated from seminary focusing in youth ministry. Listening to others, playing Frisbee, discussing and reading make me feel alive. Excitement and hope fill my thoughts when I think of starting this new work in Australia.
Moriah, thanks for posting these videos! To see you in the pictures, explaining things gave me an even better sense of what you're doing and where you are that just the pics and writings you've posted (which I've enjoyed seeing too!). You seem very much full of life and excitement for the work you doing, the projects which are still young and those you are continuing. -katie
